Satellite Meetings
Commercial and non-commercial Satellite Meetings

The XV International AIDS Conference is pleased to announce that approximately 100 commercial and non-commercial satellite meetings on specific issues relating to HIV/AIDS will take place during the Conference. Satellite meetings will be held on-site in the evenings during the Conference and all day on Sunday before the Opening Ceremony. Intended for Conference delegates, satellite meetings are fully organised and operated by the party hosting the meeting (company, government, institution or NGO).

The Conference organisers evaluated proposals for satellites on the basis of content, merit, overall quality and organisational plan in order to ensure consistency with the scientific and ethical standards of the Conference.

All satellite meetings deal specifically with HIV/AIDS within the context of the official Conference program. Priority was given to satellite meetings focusing on prevention and treatment accessibility, emergent scientific topics, community issues, global leadership and accountability.

Please note that the application deadline for satellite meetings has passed.
