IAS and Medscape/WebMD are pleased to introduce a new Web-based medical journal, eJIAS. The eJIAS comprises the complete official abstracts of the AIDS 2004 Conference. Use the eJIAS Abstract Finder to search Abstracts online.

Abstract Categories
The scientific program will be composed of 5 tracks:

Track A: Basic Science

Track B: Clinical Research, Treatment and Care

Track C: Epidemiology and Prevention

Track D: Social and Economic Issues

Track E: Policy and Program Implementation
Abstract Submission closed

Paper form abstract submission and Online Abstract submission is now closed. As of January 22nd the total number of abstracts submitted for the XV International AIDS Conference in Bangkok 2004 is around 10000.

Total number of Abstracts Submitted at the XIV International AIDS Conference in Barcelona 2002: 8827
Total number of Abstracts Submitted at the XIII International AIDS Conference in Durban: 4226

Notification of acceptance or rejection of the Abstracts will be e-mailed by late April, 2004.

Accepted Abstracts will appear in its full form in the Abstract Book, which will be available either on a CD-ROM or on paper. In addition, all delegates will receive a Final Program. The Final Program will contain the Conference program and a list of all oral and poster Abstract presentations.
